What an excellent leaflet. I wish that my local councillors produced such a newsletter. We hear nothing from them till they want our vote! No surprise there. It would be good to know more about the congestion debate. What was your take on this Coun. Lamb?
Through this blog site, I am hoping to keep the residents of Ashton-Upon-Mersey ward (Trafford MBC) informed of key activity with which I am involved. The blog will be updated on a regular basis with not only my ward activity but also my views on certain topical issues.
You can leave comments on any of the posts and your feedback is very much welcome.
If you need to contact me about a specific or personal issue then go the Trafford Council website where you will be able to find my contact email and phone number details.
John works as an independent consultant helping organisations to improve their people performance. He was first elected to the former Greater Manchester County Council at the tender age of 22 in 1977 (you can now work out his age!). Following that John represented Davyhulme West Ward on Trafford Council from 1982 to 1986.
He attended Great Stone Secondary Modern, slogged his way through 5 years of chemistry at the then Stretford Technical College and in 1991 graduated from Manchester Polytechnic with an MSc in Management. Most of his working life has been spent with United Utilities.
Councillor, which one is you in this leaflet?

I heard that the congestion charge was overturned because of the one-woman campaign of Susan Williams?
